METHODS OF PAYMENT

● PAYMENT BY CASH ON DELIVERY: For each shipment by cash on delivery, regardless of the destination, the charge is 3.99 euros up to 2 kg of weight. For each additional kilo, the charge is EUR 1.10. (the above charges also apply to inaccessible destinations and include both the cost of the transport and the cash on delivery service).

● COD to Cyprus.

● Payment with all credit, debit and prepaid cards of Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Diners. Payment is made through the secure environment of Alpha Bank, without any additional charge. In particular, the Alpha Bank option allows payment using the Masterpass e-wallet.

● Payment by Deposit to a Bank Account of our company, without any charge. Inform us about the payment by contacting Customer Service in 2 ways.

The purchase by bank deposit requires that the customer should inform about the deposit by Email or by phone, within 3 working days from the day of the order. Otherwise mellio.gr reserves the right to automatically cancel the order without notice to the customer.

SECURITY OF TRANSACTIONS (BY CARD)

Your transactions with mellio.gr are fully compliant with the Law 3471/2006 on the protection of your personal data and in accordance with the new European legislation (Privacy – Cookie Law Directive 2013) and fully harmonized through its modern encrypted systems with the new General Regulation GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation – 25/5/2018) for the protection of your personal data.

Your data is kept securely and we are committed to this. No information about your Credit Card is kept by us, only by the Alpha Bank banking system.

All payments made using the card are processed through Alpha Bank’s electronic payment platform “Alpha e-Commerce” and uses TLS 1.2 encryption with 128-bit encryption protocol (Secure Sockets Layer – SSL). Encryption is a way of encoding information until it reaches the intended recipient, who will be able to decode it using the appropriate key.

The process of clearing your payment is handled by the bank, thus ensuring the absolute security of your transaction. When you enter your card details, the bank does not charge the amount of your order, but binds it. The charge is made when your order is invoiced. During the credit card purchase process, the customer is automatically transferred to a secure server on the bank’s service. All data transferred electronically from the customer (credit card details) to the bank service, as well as their transfer from the bank to VISA or MasterCard are covered by the encryption algorithm. In this case, your card details are not stored anywhere with us, but are only used during the card verification and billing process. Thus the transactions you make with the mellio.gr eshop via credit card are completely secure.

MANAGING YOUR ACCOUNT AND TRACKING YOUR ORDERS

Your registration in the mellio.gr eshop requires your shipping and billing address details of your order. mellio.gr informs you directly through your account and by email whether the payment of your order has been completed correctly, if all the products are available, if they have been shipped and when, as well as what the tracking codes are for the shipping of the parcels by the shipping company, in order to monitor their progress by yourself.
